Suddenly some ...JOBS

Jobs come in all shapes and sizes and can have you doing anything, this is my list for the weekend:

  • Put up shower rail
  • Make mince pies (min. 100)
  • go to old flat and remove wall sticker and wallpaper wall
  • ironing
  • update CV
  • buy christmas tree
  • mend chest of draws
  • try and work out what is wrong with iphone and sort out
not to mention:

  • go to spinning class
  • de-hair - the joys of being female!
  • turn up skirt
They say the road to hell is paved with good intention but, mostly when we are faced with a list of jobs an arm long we usually hesitate before we even start a bit like me sitting here, rather than starting I'm writing a blog entry and thinking of all the things that might stop me completing everything on the list, I could be trying to sort out my Iphone - damn the thing. Do I go for an HTC next time? it's really hacking me off.

My first hurdle is the snow outside, there's at least 10cm and the temperature has gone down to minus 10 so I don't even know if I'll get out the drive let alone across town! Then, both daughters have other plans so, will be itching to get out of helping . It's got to be done this weekend or I'll end up paying someone to do it.

I once read that procrastinating was not always a bad thing as long as you're doing something else useful, yeah right!! in my books procrastinating is just not doing it and the time for procrastination is now past - I'll have a cup of tea, upload photos to facebook browse aimlessly for about half an hour  and think about how I should really get up and do some jobs on this very frosty Saturday morning.

The good intention is always there it's the will that's missing - hey maybe it's a willpower thing - I clearly start each day with good intention but easily get distracted or choose to do more than sensible overtime.
